Terms and Conditions

The following provisions regulate the sale of tickets and the conditions for attending events organised by the listed company Austria Climbing Event GmbH (hereinafter referred to as the "Organiser") in Innsbruck / Austria as part of Austria Climbing Open 2021.

Any purchase of an admission ticket shall be made exclusively on the basis of these GTC. The ticket purchaser declares that he/she has informed himself/herself about the time, duration, location, type and programme of the event as well as youth protection regulations etc. in particular via the websites and mailings of the organiser ( as well as any linked information) before purchasing the ticket and that the event is suitable for his/her purposes or those of the visitor. If the ticket is purchased for another visitor, the ticket purchaser undertakes to ensure that the ticket holder and visitor are aware of and comply with these GTC and the house rules (see below) and follow the instructions of the organiser's staff. By using the ticket at the latest, the visitor confirms knowledge of these GTC and their validity.

"Event" means the competition scheduled for the day on which the ticket is valid and any other related activities according to the ticket category.

Guidelines for the purchase of admission tickets

By purchasing an admission ticket, the visitor accepts the following conditions:
a) Immediately upon receipt of the ticket, the visitor must check it for accuracy (in particular with regard to event, date, ticket number and price).
b) Tickets cannot be returned.
c) Tickets are dispatched at the risk of the recipient.
d) There is no right of withdrawal: tickets cannot therefore be returned.
e) Tickets will not be replaced if lost.
f) In case of postponement of the competition or the round, the ticket remains valid. The organiser reserves the right to change the category of the ticket in case of postponement to a day on which a competition or round is already scheduled.
g) In case of complete cancellation of a competition or round, no refund of the purchase price will be made.
h) The resale or transfer of the ticket for profit (especially by auction or raffle) is prohibited.
i) Events or tickets may not be used for advertising and promotion without the written permission of the organiser.
j) Alterations and copies of admission tickets are prohibited. Altered original admission tickets shall lose their validity. The admission ticket is invalid if it has not been validated. After leaving the event area during an event, the admission ticket loses its validity.
k) The sale of more than 8 admission tickets to one person is subject to the separate consent of the Organiser.
l) In the event of infringement of these regulations or of the house rules, or in the event of misuse of the admission ticket, it shall be withdrawn without replacement. In the case of withdrawn or invalid tickets, the Organiser is entitled to block the ticket and to refuse the respective ticket holder admission to the event or to exclude him/her from the event.

House rules of the event area

By purchasing an admission ticket, the visitor submits to the instructions of the organiser and the house rules of the event site: Their provisions apply to every visit to an event. The visitor is obliged to inform himself/herself about these regulations, especially for safety reasons. By using the admission ticket at the latest, the visitor confirms that he/she is aware of the house rules and that they apply. For latecomers, the admission regulations of the respective event apply.

Image recordings

The visitor acknowledges that image recordings are occasionally made at events, which are subsequently exploited (television and radio broadcasts, photo, video, audio, etc.). The visitor gives his/her express consent that the recordings made by him/her during or in connection with the event may be stored, evaluated and also exploited for commercial purposes by the organiser and/or other authorised persons (e.g. television broadcasters) without compensation, without any time or space restrictions, by means of any current or future technical process, provided that the use does not unduly infringe his/her personal interests.

The visitor acknowledges and agrees that video recordings of the spectator areas will be made in the entire event area for reasons of everyone's safety and in order to punish violations of the law as well as violations of the house rules.

Visitors are prohibited from using the internet, radio, TV or any other current and/or future media technology to transmit audio and/or visual material, descriptions, results and/or statistics of the event, in whole or in part, or to assist any other person in carrying out such activities. Visitors are only authorised to take photographs, film, video or other sound/image recordings of events for private use. Any commercial use or use for commercial purposes of such recordings is prohibited.

Visitors are particularly advised that the volume at events can be very high and that there is a risk of hearing/health damage as a result. Children and hearing-sensitive persons in particular are advised to take appropriate precautions.

Visitors attend events at their own risk. The organiser shall not be liable for any damage unless it can be proven that the organiser acted with intent or gross negligence in the breach of its main contractual obligations. Any liability shall in any case be limited to compensation for the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Insofar as the liability of the organiser is excluded or limited, this shall also apply to the personal liability of its employees, representatives and vicarious agents. Accidents, damages and injuries must be reported to the organiser immediately.

Place of jurisdiction, law

The exclusive place of jurisdiction for corporate customers shall be the competent court in Innsbruck. Consumers within the meaning of the Consumer Protection Act shall be entitled to choose the place of jurisdiction as provided by law. Austrian law shall apply to the exclusion of the "UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods" and the relevant conflict-of-law rules.

Amendments, supplements and ancillary agreements to these GTC as well as assurances of any kind must be made in writing in order to be effective. This also applies to any agreement to deviate from this formal requirement. Should individual provisions be wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. In this case, a new provision will be made in place of the invalid provision which corresponds or comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
